Clinical Assessment & Treatment for the Forearm
This two-day hands-on opportunity for 16 CE Hours in a focused, small-group environment is an opportunity you won’t want to miss. Learn skills to assess and develop customized treatment plans based on your client’s condition, while providing patient education. David utilizes un-embalmed dissection video and 3-D models to review the anatomy, show how postural analysis can be used to document and educate clients on their pain, and teach the formation of trigger points and treatment techniques you can use immediately.

Conditions Covered: Rotator Cuffs Injuries, Frozen Shoulder, Nerve Entrapment, Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, Lateral and Medial Epicondylitis and Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.

Co-sponsored by the Rolf Institute®, these Advanced Myofascial Techniques will dramatically improve your ability to work with jaw and TMJ pain, migraines, ear and sinus issues, and more. This one-day seminar’s focus is on unusual, interesting, and fresh approaches that will both expand technique repertoire and inspire creativity and innovation. 8 CE Hours.

Instructor: Til Luchau
Til Luchau is a training specialist and faculty member of the Rolf Institute.  He has over 20 years of experience in manual therapy, training, education, administration, facilitation, consulting, and entrepreneurial environments.  He is a Certified Advanced Rolfer, and directs Advanced-Trainings.com, a consortium of teachers which has pioneered the use of non-conventional training methods in the bodywork field.

This class expands the focus of ethics from behaviors that cause harm to include behaviors and attitudes that use power to promote healing and empowerment. 2 CE Hours.

This seminar covers the dynamics of food energetics and medicinal remedies, increasing your understanding of the nature of foods, and their effects on the body/mind in both personal use and in clinical practice. Susan will incorporate the dynamics of Chinese and Japanese foods as medicine, The Five Elements and insights from years of clinical experience. 2 CE Hours.

Susan Krieger, L.Ac., MS, Diplomate-NCCAOM, Health/Nutritional Counselor is an internationally renowned teacher and practitioner who incorporates energetics of foods, integrative-health/nutrition, Chinese Medicine, Ki-Shiatsu, and years of clinical experience for students and health professionals worldwide into her teaching.


Supervising Massage Therapists is Like Herding Cats
Perhaps the analogy is a little harsh, or perhaps it is a little accurate. Working with massage therapists is a process. Explore the pitfalls and success of hiring, supervising, evaluating, and dismissing therapists. Most importantly learn how to keep therapists for years. If you are new in the business and considering hiring a friend, if you are making less than or close to the therapists that work for you, or if you are ready to expand, this course is designed to prevent problems for you! 2 CE Hours.

Matt Michaud founded MattLMT as a continuing education company committed to extending and fulfilling the work life of massage therapists. He runs a neuromuscular massage clinic in Jacksonville, Florida and is currently a naturopathic doctoral student in Tempe, Arizona. He consults for private industry, small business owners, and spa managers.


Learning Through Clinical Research
This course provides massage therapists with the understanding of why clinical research is important, how accessible research endeavors can be, how to begin a research topic, and the approach needed to carry out a study. We will demystify the research process by illustrating surprising research results in our own studies. 2 CE Hours.

Instructors: Douglas Nelson & James Ivaska
Douglas Nelson has been a massage therapist since 1977. He is also the President of BodyWork Associates, a massage therapy clinic in Champaign, IL, which was established in 1982. Doug is also the founder of Precision Neuromuscular Therapy seminars and conducts and publishes clinical research studies.


James Ivaska graduated from the Chicago School of Massage Therapy in 2004 and obtained a Master’s Degree in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois in 2007. James is the research coordinator for Precision Neuromuscular Therapy.
